Covid-19 May 2022 Update

We continue to adhere to the latest NHS Scotland and professional body guidance for all Optical practices. As a primary care setting, infection prevention control guidance remains.

There is no longer a legal requirement for patients/visitors to wear a face covering (unless exempt). Instead, the position as set out on the Scottish Government website is that it is strongly recommended to continue to wear a face covering, especially in healthcare settings.
