Did you know 89% of all visually impaired people live in developing countries?

World Sight Day is the only international day of awareness and fundraising to focus global attention on the looming crisis of avoidable blindness and visual impairment. Vision Aid Overseas are working to ensure that everyone, regardless of their gender, economic status and geographical location, has access to affordable eye care services and glasses and this World Sight Day, Freedom Destinations, one of the UK’s largest independent holiday companies, will be doubling every donation up to the first £5,000!

Linda, pictured, lives in Sierra Leone and at just 19 years-old, she is blind. A few years ago, a simple eye test could have saved her sight. Make a difference this World Sight Day so that no one is left without the eye care services they desperately need.
